About Marlena Hollander
A lifelong New Englander, Dr. Marlena Hollander spent most of her life in Massachusetts before settling in New Hampshire. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Veterinary Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2013. While she had always loved animals, it was during her time at UMass that she discovered her true passion for veterinary medicine and never looked back. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2017.
Dr. Hollander enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, and has loves to incorporate alternative therapies into her treatment of her patients. Since getting her Acupuncture certification from the Chi University in 2023, providing acupuncture treatments to her patients is one of her favorite ways to manage disease and pain in addition to using other integrative techniques such as ozone therapy, molecular hydrogen therapy, and diet management.
At home, Dr. Hollander enjoys life in New Hampshire with her husband, Johnny, their daughter and their two cats, Schmoo and Ninja. In her free time, she takes full advantage of the state’s outdoor adventures, including rock climbing, hiking, camping, kayaking, and biking.
