About Marlena Hollander
A lifelong New Englander, Dr. Marlena Hollander spent most of her life in Massachusetts before settling in New Hampshire. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Veterinary Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2013. While she had always loved animals, it was during her time at UMass that she discovered her true passion for veterinary medicine and never looked back. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2017.
Dr. Hollander enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a special interest in surgery and managing complex cases. She is particularly passionate about feline medicine, striving to minimize stress for her feline patients both at home and in the hospital. One of her favorite parts of the job is educating pet owners and working with them as a team to ensure the best care for their pets.
At home, Dr. Hollander enjoys life in New Hampshire with her husband, Johnny, and their two cats, Schmoo and Ninja. In her free time, she takes full advantage of the state’s outdoor adventures, including rock climbing, hiking, camping, kayaking, and biking.
