Kelly Practice Manager
About Kelly
Kelly earned her B.A. in English from Stonehill College in 2011 but soon found her true calling—helping animals. Since 2014, she has worked in animal welfare, including four years in nonprofit fundraising and two years in veterinary hospital management. A pivotal moment in her career came during a work trip to Costa Rica, where she encountered free-roaming animals suffering from treatable illnesses. This experience reaffirmed her passion for making quality veterinary care accessible.
Kelly has a special interest in rabbits and exotic pets, inspired in part by conversations with pet parents during the COVID-19 pandemic who struggled to find care for their animals. She believes preventive care is key, ensuring every pet has a trusted veterinarian before illness strikes.
At home, Kelly shares her life with three rabbits, two chinchillas, and a harness-trained tortoiseshell cat. She also volunteers with an all-rabbit rescue and enjoys running, hiking, and snowshoeing when she isn’t surrounded by animals.
